The Rev. Tom Bevard, founder and director of Freedom Ministries in Iola, was guest speaker for the morning service Sunday. His message was taken from Ephesians chapter 6.    

Myrna Wildschuetz played “The Gentle Stranger” for the prelude. Rita Sanders at the organ played “He Touched Me” for the offertory.

Rev. Bevard also provided the special music. He sang “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow,” accompanied by Myrna at the piano.

John Burton celebrated his birthday Tuesday. Bryan and Barb Crites celebrated their wedding anniversary Friday.

Bible Study with Pastor Traw on the book of Ephesians will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Visiting Joanne McIntyre and Jim Hinson May 24 was Jim’s daughter, Diana Deeds, Emporia. Also dropping by for a visit were Leo and Judy Jeck from Paola.
