Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday was “Waterproof,” taken from John 6:16-21.

Myrna Wildschuetz played “It Could Happen in a Moment” for the prelude and Rita Sanders played “Through it All” for the offertory.

Joyce Bratsch celebrated her birthday Thursday. 

The Maundy Thursday Service is at 7 p.m. on April 18.

Bible study with Pastor Steve is at 3 p.m. Tuesday on the book of Acts.

Visiting during spring break with Jim Hinson and Joanne McIntyre was great-granddaughter Zoey McIntyre, age 7, of rural Yates Center. 

Jim’s daughter, Diana and husband Richard Deeds of Emporia visited Saturday. 

Melvin and Linda Guenther’s great-grandsons, Collin, Cade and Camden, Bartlesville, Okla., visited during spring break. 

Bob and Luann Reece, Manhattan, recently visited with Gene and Naomi Chambers. Also visiting were Steve and Laura Reece, Piper and Naomi, from Overland Park.
