Carlyle Presbyterian Church

Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday was “Treasuring Our First Love” taken from Revelation 2:1-7, second in a series of messages taken from Revelation; letters written to the seven churches located in seven major cities throughout Asia Minor, which today is the region of modern-day Turkey.

The first letter was written to the church at Ephesus who had left their first love – Christ (see Rev. 2:4).

Myrna Wildschuetz played “It Took a Miracle” for the prelude and Rita Sanders played “No One Understands like Jesus” for the offertory.

Richard Klingensmith sang “Now I Belong to Jesus” accompanied by Rita Sanders at the organ.

Bible study with Pastor Traw on the book of John is at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
