A blood drive through the Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City Wednesday at the North Community Building brought 31 donors. Eight were deferred. Ten gave blood through the Alyx Component Collection System, which doubles the amount of red blood cells collected.
Seventeen whole units of blood were collected
