Jeremy Gomez and Amie VanNice, Iola, announce the birth of a son, Dominiq Cheney, born March 9, 2012, at Allen County Hospital. He weighed 5 pounds, 13.6 ounces and was 16 1/2 inches long. He joins a sister, Mariah VanNice, 8, and a brother, Kaiden Gomez, 5.
Maternal grandparents are Jesse and Sheila VanNice, Iola, and paternal grandparents are Augustine Gomez, Iola, and the late Linda Maria Gomez. Ernestine Cheney, Humboldt, is his great-grandmother.
