Barbecue 101 class will help you get ready for grilling and smoking season.

Warming springtime temperatures mean grilling season will soon be upon us. If you are looking forward to firing up the grill or smoker this year, join Farm Bureau, Mayco Ace Hardware, and K-State Research and Extension-Southwind Extension District for BBQ 101 class. This classroom style program will teach you what you need to know to barbecue safely and deliciously. The class will take place on the Bourbon County Fairgrounds, located at 205 S. Huntington Blvd., in Fort Scott on April 26, beginning at 6 p.m. It is free to attend but preregistrations are appreciated.
