Ashton McIntyre, Iola, and Brandon Birk, Gridley, were united in marriage on Nov. 23, 2013, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Iola.
The wedding took place at 5 p.m. and was officiated by Trudy Kenyon Anderson and Jeremiah Holcomb.
Ashton is the daughter of Greg and Jackie McIntyre, Iola, and the granddaughter of Jack and Beverly Franklin and JoAnne McIntyre, Iola.
Brandon is the son of Gene and Becky Birk, Gridley, and the grandson of Clara Griffith, Eureka.
The maid of honor was Kelly Oliver, Manhattan. Bridesmaids were Jordan Craft, Yates Center, Kiley Stinson, Allen, Kelsey Fuller, Allen.
Levi Saueressig, Le Roy, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jordan Ecton, Gridley, Kelly DeDonder, Admire, Mike Fehr, Emporia.
Ashton is a 2008 graduate of Iola High School. She graduated in 2011 from Kansas State University with a degree in Agribusiness. She is employed as a crop insurance adjuster for QBE-NAU. Brandon is a 2003 graduate of Southern Coffey County. He graduated from Butler Community College with an associates degree in 2005. He is the owner and operator of Birk Farms in Gridley.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. They reside in Gridley.
