COLONY — Crest High School students learned a bit about kickstarting a business this week.

Several business graphics students took part Tuesday in the first ever Anderson County Entrepreneurship Challenge.

The students were tasked with creating their own makeshift businesses, then preparing a four-minute executive summary to present to a panel of judges.

The presentations were a part of Tuesday’s Crest High School Trade Show, and featured fellow students, parents and others in the community.

The top three business ideas in Anderson County will move on to the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge in Manhattan April 28.
