Iola High music students Kalibre Smith and Keira Fawson took violin solos to the State Music Solo Festival Competition April 29.
Fawson earned a I rating, the highest possible, while Smith earned a II rating on a scale of I to V.
Elizabeth Cunningham is their instructor.
