The monthly meeting of the Square B 4-H Club was July 11 at the LaHarpe Veterans of Foreign Wars building.

Vice President Mary Brown called the meeting to order. The flag salute and 4-H Pledge were led by Aiden Martin and Cassie Hicks.

Roll call was answering “What is your favorite thing about the Allen County Fair.”

Song leader Aiden Martin led the group in singing “Row, Row, Row Your Boat.” Recreation leader Cassie Hicks led the group in performing sign language to “God Bless America” and “God Bless The USA.” Five members, one leader, five parents and 15 guests attended.

For the program, Mary Brown gave a talk on “Tips to Help You get through High School.”

For new business, the club discussed the upcoming fair, and Square B’s responsibilities. Members also discussed who would participate in the Barnyard Olympics. New T-shirts will be ready for pick-up soon. Square B members will provide baked beans for the Friends of 4-H Picnic at Iola High School July 26.
