The Square B 4-H Club met Monday at the Southwind Extension Office in Iola.
Vice President Katelyn Hicks called the meeting to order. Flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Henry Kramer and Jett Rice.
Roll call was answered by “What is your favorite ice cream flavor?” Six members, two leaders and four parents were present.
Square B secretary Carly Kramer read the minutes. Henry Kramer gave the treasurer’s report. Katelyn Hicks’s report from March had been in the March 16 Iola Register.
For the program, Carly Kramer gave a demonstration on how to save your Easter eggs for next year.
For new business, the club voted to sponsor the Steve Mangus Memorial Award for the Champion Junior Boys Buymanship class. The club also voted to participate in SAFE BASE’s after-school program and to have an exchange meeting with the Prairie Dell 4-H Club.
The next club meeting is May 8 at the Extension Office. The Hicks family will bring snacks and lead the program.
