PITTSBURG — Marmaton Valley High School students competed in the math relays at Pittsburg State University on Tuesday.
The 16 students competed against more than 700 others from Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri in different math competitions and different grade levels.
Placing from Marmaton Valley were:
— Kendall Scharff, second in 12th grade Algebraic Simplifications and ninth in 12th grade Analytical Geometry.
— Cadience Cook, fifth in 12th grade Functions.
— Garrett Henderson, seventh in 12th grade Probability & Statistics.
— Zach Allee, fourth in 11th grade Geometry.
“I am proud of our kids not only in their accomplishments, but also in how they represented Marmaton Valley. It was another great day to be a Wildcat,” club sponsor Kelci Botts said.
