COLONY — The Kincaid Masonic Lodge 338 presented a $1,000 check to Crest USD 479 at the Crest Track and Field Day celebration May 9.
The funds were raised at various school events by raffling off a vintage vehicle.
The Masonic Lodge has supported scores of school projects in the past, such as Crest After Prom.
This year, the Masons offered a scholarship to 2023 Crest High graduate Sydney Stephens and will sponsor band student Malachi Trester to attend the Kansas Shrine Bowl in july.
Another raffle is planned for the 2023-24 school year for a chance to win a 1966 Chevy Chevelle. Tickets are available already, organizers said.
