After the dinner, catered by Trista Elmenhorst McVey, the 2023 scholarships were announced. Alumni scholarships for $250 each were given to Zach Allee and Roslyn Houk. Madi Lawson and Bailey LaRue each received $1,000 scholarships from the Joe and Cora O’Rourke Fund.
Recognition was given to classes ending in 3 and 8. Special recognition was given to the following:

Oldest female graduate: Mary Ellen Murrow Stanley, 1951
Oldest male graduate: Glenn Smith, 1951

The winner of the 50/50 raffle was Mary Stewart Price.
Officers for 2024 were elected. They are Bailey LaRue, president; Chris Elmenhorst, vice president; Myrna Parsons Wilschuetz, recording secretary; Sarabeth Foster LaRue, corresponding secretary; Ann Morrison Houk, treasurer; and Jamie Siefker Stogdill, historian.
The 2024 Moran/MVHS Alumni Banquet will take place on May 25.
