Forensics students showcase their skills

On Monday, the team members showcased their state-qualifying numbers for the public, while announcing several award winners for the 2023 season.

Alyssa Williams was crowned Rookie of the Year.

Macie Hoag was a two-time winner, earning Speaker of the Year honors and a prize as the Most Dedicated Upperclassman.

Max Andersen is Iola’s Interpreter of the Year.

Everett Glaze was tapped as Actor of the Year.

Cole Moyer was deemed the Most Dedicated Underclassman.

A public sendoff is set for 10:05 a.m. Friday for the students as they head out to the state competition.
