Allen County Farmers Market sites are ready for business.
Thursday’s session begins at 5:30 p.m. on the east side of the courthouse square in downtown Iola.
To further protect vendors and customers, social distance rules will be in place. No more than 50 customers at a time will be allowed in the market. Buyers are required to enter and exit from the north end of the market (East Street.)
On Saturday, vendors will be on the Humboldt square from 8 to 11 a.m.
Next Tuesday, sales will be from 1 to 4 p.m. at 700 N. State St. in Iola.
Several protections are being instituted at each site.
Sellers accept EBT and debit cards and participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program.
The Farmers Market is sponsored by From the Land of Kansas and the Health Forward Foundation.
