MANHATTAN — Southwind Extension District 4-H member Jewel Endicott took home sixth place in the senior division Saturday in her first State Horticulture Judging Contest, at the Kansas State University campus. 

Each 4-H member was required to identify 50 different plants, judge eight different categories of plants by quality, and were tested on their knowledge of various aspects of plant science.
