CHANUTE — Construction will begin soon on a Domino’s Pizza franchise here, the Chanute Tribune reported.
The store will be erected at 1422 S. Santa Fe St, the Chanute Regional Development Authority announced.
“We are very exited to open in Chanute,” owners Dan and Emily Elwell told the Tribune.
The couple plans for a September opening.
The Elwells own 11 Domino’s stores, including locations in Fort Scott, Parsons and Pittsburg, Joplin and Miami, Okla.
Both started as part-time employees with Domino’s and bought their first store in Webb City , Mo., in 2010, the Tribune reported.
