Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Allen County Conservation District will not have an in-person meeting to celebrate its 81st anniversary.

Ballots for the annual election will be mailed to previous meeting attendees.

The annual meeting is how the district informs the citizens of Allen County about their goals, conservation concerns and practices. The district also discloses its yearly financials and annual report, and holds elections for the board of supervisors.

David Colgin’s term is expiring this year.

To request a ballot or disclosure, call 620-365-2901 ext. 3 or email [email protected].

Ballots may be mailed back, or dropped off at the office at 202 W. Miller Rd., between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ballots must reach the office by Feb. 22 to be counted.
