On Sunday, Pastor Chase Reibel finished up the series from Ezekiel with chapters 40-48, “God’s Glory Returns to the Temple.” God has a perfect plan for us and Jesus is how that plan is accomplished, Riebel said.

God showed Ezekiel a vision of a temple with a river of living water flowing from under one of its thresholds and this water flowed to the sea healing the waters of the sea. In John chapter 4 Jesus offered the Samaritan woman at the well this living water and in Revelation 22 this river of living water flows from the throne of God.

In his Communion meditation, Howard Reiter told us that no one can add one hour to their life. Jesus said, in Matthew 6:25, “do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on.”

We must trust in God that He will take care of us.

Rochelle Smart led worship singing “Power in the Blood,” “Awesome God,” “Give us Clean Hands” and “I will Fear no More” at Sunday’s Colony Christian Church service. She was accompanied by Mike and Isla Billings. Ethan Prasko was on percussion.

Continued prayers are requested for Luke Smith, who is battling cancer. Luke is the grandson of Steve Green.
