The Carlyle Ladies Country Club met in the home of Phyllis Loomis. Attending were Pauli Hawk, Joanne McIntyre, Leanne Brixey, Sharon Grisier, Phyllis Loomis, Myrna Wildschuetz, Joyce Sneed and Cheryl Klingensmith.

Though Phyllis claims she is not a quilter, she has constructed seven quilts which illustrate her capabilities with color, pattern and design. She started quilting in 2008 with a pattern called “Pinwheels.” The hardest quilt she made was called “Mesmerize.”  Her other patterns are “Breakfast in Bed,” “Pinwheels and Posies,” Daisy Loves,” “Powwow Wow” and “Transparency.”

Joyce Sneed won the door prize. Joyce will host the April meeting.

Pastor Steve Traw’s message Sunday, “With God In The Wilderness,” was taken from Exodus 25:23-30.

Pianist Myrna Wildschuetz played “It Could Happen in a Moment” for the prelude and “Whispering Hope” for the offertory.

Travis Smith is celebrating his birthday today. Don and Ella Mae Britt, Sharon and Kevin Cress and Glen and Patty Herschberger celebrated their respective anniversaries Tuesday. Melvin and Linda Guenther’s wedding anniversary was Friday.

The church fellowship dinner followed the morning worship service.
