Motorists traveling near Iola High School soon will notice a higher-than-normal law enforcement presence.
Local officers will step up patrols around IHS as part of the Seat Belts Are For Everyone (SAFE) campaign.
The youth initiative, sponsored by the Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office, is funding programs targeting teens and traffic safety.
Local SAFE enforcement will run Feb. 24 through March 6.
