MORAN — The Moran City Council meeting planned for Monday has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Several governing bodies have altered their meeting formats because of the health scare.
Iola City Council members will continue to host their regular meetings — the next one is April 13 — but have discouraged public members from attending, and prohibited public comment during the meeting. Those with questions or concerns about city managers are encouraged to call City Hall, 365-4900, or reach out via email.
In LaHarpe, the City Council will meet April 8, but only long enough to pay the city’s monthly bills, and adjourn. LaHarpe, too, has removed the regular public comment session from its agenda.
