The Iola Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism’s annual dinner is Thursday, March 2.
The event is at the Allen County Country Club starting at 5:30 p.m.
Erik Pedersen and Brittney Holum are the guest speakers.
Pedersen is President and COO for NetWork Kansas. He is responsible for all aspects of the Entrepreneurship (E-) Community Partnership as well as Impact Investment Services business unit.
NetWork Kansas is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to developing an entrepreneurial ecosystem that connects aspiring, emerging, and established businesses to a wide network of business-building resource organizations across the state.
Holum is an Independence native and owner of Arrow Advisors LLC, a small business consulting firm that specializes in web design, marketing and branding, and overall business management.
The presentation will focus on the importance to businesses of communication, social media, having a web presence and online exposure.
