Raymond and Mary Ellen Dix will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday.
Raymond Dix and Mary Ellen Powers were married on Jan. 6, 1968, at Community Baptist Church, Iola.The Rev. Roy Nitcher presided.
The couple have four children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Melissa Creason, Michelle Hill, Monica Catron and Matthew Dix will host a card shower in the couple’s honor. Correspondence may be sent to 101 S. Third St., Iola, KS 66749.
