Max and Bernadene Snodgrass, Iola, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. June 12 at the First Christian Church, 1608 Oregon Rd., in Iola.
Max Snodgrass and Bernadene Weast were married June 2, 1961, in the parsonage of First Christian Church by the Rev. Chester Werbin. The couple were attended by her sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and George Martin.
Hosts for the anniversary reception will be Randy and Jane Weast, Pam and Bob Blair, Roger and Jennifer Weast and Vernon and Christy Snodgrass. The couple have 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
