Lawrence and Delma Rourk, Iola, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. June 6 at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Angie Rourk, at 1410 Neosho St. in Humboldt. Their daughter, Debra, and grandsons, Paden and Avery Rourk, will co-host the party. A family luncheon will precede the open house.
Lawrence Rourk and Delma Harris were married June 14, 1950, at the Allen County Courthouse in Iola by Judge Dunlap. Evelyn Geffert and Duane Harris attended the couple.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the open house. The couple requests no gifts. Cards may be sent to the couple at 920 Highway 54, Iola.
