Joe and JoAnne Betzen, Iola, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
Joe Betzen and JoAnne Lathy were married Aug. 5, 1961, in Kansas City, Mo.
Joe had various business interests including B and W Equipment, JB Supply and J and J RV. JoAnne taught school in Gas. The couple are retired.
Children of the couple are Charles Betzen, Spring Hill, Mary Calzonetti, Garden City, Ann Wilkinson, Leawood, and James Betzen, Nevada, Mo. The couple have nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
