Joe and Anita Baker will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary at an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 19 in the basement of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt.
The couple were married Dec. 20, 1950, in the parsonage of Wesley United Methodist Church.
They have lived most of their married life on a family farm west of Iola.
Hosts for the celebration will be the couple’s children and spouses, Roger and Jan Baker, Scott and Greta Baker, Tim and Judy Baker, John and Linda Baker, Ron and Sherry Herder and Mike and Terry Taylor and their many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.
