Friend and relatives are invited to join the children of Jim and Kay Lewis of Elsmore in celebrating the couple’s 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on Nov. 19 at Elsmore City Hall.
Dewey “Jim” Lewis and Carlin Kay Schlessman were married at the Tracy Church in Anderson, Mo., on Dec. 23, 1961. To this union three children were born: Doug of Moran, James of Cherokee, and Shannon Boyd of Moran. The couple have been blessed with nine grandchildren: Tyler and Tanner, Kyle, Kaytlyn, Taylor and Chad and Kailey, Keagan and Kamryn.
