Donald and Shirley Steward, Springfield, Mo., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday.
Donald L. Stewart and Shirley J. Beaman were married April 7, 1951, in Nevada Mo.
Three children were born to the couple, Ken J. Stewart, Jupiter, Fla., Janet Stewart, Ozark, Mo., and Christine (Stewart) Jordan, who is deceased. The also had an exchange student from Honduras, Eloisa Murillo.
The couple have six grandchildren, Kenna Libertoski and her husband, Adam, Tustin Calif., Jason Stewart and his wife, Natalie, Springfield, Courtney McCurdy and her husband, John, Ozark Mo., Cameron Stewart and his wife, Lisa, San Antonio, Texas, and Anna Stewart and Daniel Stewart, Springfield. They have 10 great-grandchildren, Zeda and Jack McCurdy, Dominic and Cade Libertoski, Kaleb, Kendra, Alayana and Kenseth Stewart, Tanner Stewart and Jake Gonzalez.
