High School sweethearts David and Glenda Comstock will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 30.
The couple were married in Colony’s United Methodist Church on July 30, 1961. They made their home in Colony after their marriage.
They are the parents of Shawn and his wife, Brenda, of New Strawn, and Audra and her husband, Greg Miller, of Joplin, Mo., who were also married on their parents’ anniversary in 1994. They are the proud grandparents of McCall Miller, Danielle, Tyler, Jacob, and twins, Kyle and Kody Comstock, and step grandson, Cody Eash.
David is employed in the ag-management business, and Glenda is a homemaker. Together they own Comstock Rentals & Sales in the Iola area.
