Elvert “Al” and Judy Garver, Monett, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception 2 to 4 p.m. June 19 at the senior center, 204 N. Jefferson, in Iola.
Al Garver and Judy Colvin were married June 18, 1960, in Chanute Assembly of God Church. The couple lived in Chanute for two years and in Iola for 48 years.
The anniversary celebration will be hosted by their children and their families, Alan and Sandra Garver and Kevin and Crystal Garver. The couple have seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
