Chuck and Emy Platt will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary May 25.
Chuck Platt and Emy Sifford were married May 25, 1968, at Zion Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minn.
A celebration to honor the couple is planned for 10:45 a.m. May 20 at Iolas First Presbyterian Church. Church members will host the event.
The Platts were the owners of Iolas Coast to Coast Hardware, which became Ace Hardware, from 1986 to 2006.
Cards are welcome; the couple requests no gifts.
