Dick Works, a 37-year-old Humboldt farmer, will seek the Republican nomination for First District Allen County commissioner. Works has been Allen County Republican Party chairman for the past 10 years. He has served as president of the Allen County Farm Bureau, the Humboldt Rotary Club and the St. Joseph Church Council.
