Iolans were glad to see a Southern Kansas Greyhound Bus pull up at the Kelley Hotel Bus Stop yesterday afternoon. It was the first Kansas City-Tulsa bus that had been through Iola since the SKG drivers went on strike Aug. 29. Fred Hoye, owner of the Kelley Hotel and manager of the bus stop, told the Register that eight Southern Kansas Greyhound buses per day will serve Iola now that the lengthy strike is over.

Iola got a taste of big city night club life last night as the Allen County Country Club brought Kay Dennis and a trio of musicians from Kansas City to present a four-hour program. Miss Dennis is a talented and imaginative singer who has a more or less permanent booking at the Hilton in Kansas City. The foursome are leaving next month for Holland, where they are scheduled for television shows.
