The Iola Junior College is offering scholarships this spring to 25 percent of the countys high school graduates, T. Clarence Brown, assistant dean, told the Iola Rotary Club last night. To qualify, the students must be residents of Allen County and in the upper 60 percent of their class scholastically.

The mobile X-ray team sponsored by the State Tuberculosis Association took chest pictures of 4,032 persons while it was in Allen County, according to a final check made by Jim Murrow, TB chairman. This was 800 more than were taken the last time the unit was here.
