Mary Belle Lindaman Miller, 73, of Des Moines, Iowa, died Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, from accident injuries suffered in her home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1937 in Iola to Herman and Dorothy Kramer. She lived in Kansas until 1955 when she moved to the Des Moines area.
On Aug. 10, 1958, she married Lowell Lindaman and together they owned and operated Lindy’s Pet Store for many years. Following his death in 1982, she baby-sat during the day and worked for various companies in customer service. She enjoyed reading, bowling, crossword puzzles, computer games and daytime television.
She is survived by four daughters, Donna and her husband Mike Gray, Leanna and her husband Tim Gerald, and Danette and her husband David Morse, Des Moines, and Lori and her husband Doug Jones, St. Charles, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy White; brothers, Ralph, Don, Ron and Michael Kramer; and many nieces and nephews.
Her husbands, Lowell Lindaman and Ted Miller, a grandson, Jonathan Stahl; and sisters, Ruth Miller and Karen Wilson, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Iles Funeral Homes — Westover Chapel, Des Moines.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 6337 Hickman Rd., Des Moines.
Private burial will be in Glendale Cemetery at a later date.
