Allen County Country Club held an annual two-man best ball golf tournament. First place went to Pat Tynon and Jake Tynon, who shot 60-65. Earl Walter and Mike Stodgell shot a 66-60 to earn second place. Mike Hayes and Tom Strickler finished with a 64-63 to place third. Rounding out the top four were L.C. Lacy and Kent Tomson, who shot a 66-63. The highlight of the tournament came from John Masterson, who shot a hole-in-one on the 175-yard Hole No. 9, using a 4-iron.
At Cedarbrook Golf Course Saturday, Obinna Eregbu hit a hole in one on Hole No. 8 using a 9-iron to send the ball 165 yards. This was witnessed by Tim Hoffman, Jeff Cook, Andy Evans, Tim Wools and Gary Wells.
