Virginia Bland

Virginia Lea Bland, 65, Iola, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at her home.
On June 17, 1965, Virginia married Orva M. Bland Sr. They made their home in Le Roy for six years before moving to Iola. She worked at a nursing home in Yates Center and later at H.L. Miller and Son Dress Factory, Iola. Mr. Bland preceded her in death Feb. 25, 2011.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel, Iola.
Burial will be in Gas City Cemetery, Gas.
Memorials are requested for the Virginia L. Bland Memorial Fund and may be left with Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel.
