Nancy Carol Sigg, 59, Humboldt, passed away, Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, at Windsor Place in Iola.
Nancy was born Jan. 15, 1955, in Wichita, the daughter of Winford and Maida (Makemsom) Black.
She was a member of Restoration Fellowship Church in Humboldt. She loved spending time with family and taking her little dog, Sally, for walks at the park. She was very creative and enjoyed oil painting and doing a variety of art and craft projects.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Tina Cady-Friend and husband Travis of Savonburg; an uncle, Frank Makemsom and wife Donna of St. Paul; a cousin, Donita Paulie of Erie; and granddaughter, Cassidy Friend.
She was preceded in death by her companion, David Ostrander; mother, Maida Tyler and husband Paul; and father, Winford “Buck” Black.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Restoration Fellowship Chapel.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Countryside Funeral Home, Humboldt Chapel. Cremation will follow at a later date.
The family has suggested Allen County Animal Rescue Facility for memorials, and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
